Special Forces Desert Cruiser Knife - Combo Edge Clip-Point
CRKT Special Forces Desert Cruiser with Desert Tan Zytel Handle. The Cruiser’s
design is pure combat common sense. CRKT used their extremely strong Inter Frame
build with 420J2 stainless liners, one locking. The Desert Tan injection-molded
Textured Zytel® Scales are boldly textured and radiused and contoured to
perfectly fit the hand. The deep finger choil, serrated thumb ramp on the blade,
and rounded parrot’s beak pommel, capture the hand for maximum control in
multiple grip positions, forward or reverse. The CRKT Desert Cruiser Special
Forces model features Dual Carson Flippers, resulting in a true hilt and
giving extra thumb purchase. A unique blade stop channel is CNC machined within
the blade, allowing friction-grooved, tapered blade extension “flippers” to
rocket the blade open with either hand. It also provides added thumb security
when holding the knife edge up. Tactical Knives calls it “the sweetest
flipper in the business.” One-hand opening and closing is velvet smooth,
the result of Teflon® bearings at the blade pivot. The ambidextrous thumb studs
with checkered surface provide instant access in any circumstance. Includes the
new patented* AutoLAWKS™, an advanced version of the Lake And Walker
Knife Safety, which automatically converts the knife into virtual fixed blades
when locked opened.
CRKT Desert Cruiser™ Desert Tan Zytel Handle has special paddle-style
clothing/gear clip system, which can be attached in four positions: tip up, tip
down, left or right on belts or webbing. Two stainless steel Teflon®-plated
clips, hardware and Torx® tool are included.
Caution: The Desert Cruiser is not designed for tip-up in-pocket carry.
