ArmaLite Scope Mounting Base with 30mm Scope Rings.

ArmaLite’s scope mounts provide outstanding, repeatable engagement with the Mil-Std 1913 (Picatinny) rail used on all modern ARs, while placing the scope centerline at the same position as the iron sights of the M-15A2 rifle… You use the same stock weld with the scope that you do with the iron sights. Available in both 1-Inch and 30mm models.

I bought one of these in the 30mm variety. Its a tough piece of gear. Once you've got you're scope locked in it aint going nowhere! Its solid. I like the standard size hex screws that lock down the rings. The thing I would have done differently if I were the designer is put the lock down screws (the ones that hold the mount to the pic. rail) on the other side. My personal preference is that I'd rather have them on the side opposite the ejection port. Return to zero after removing and remounting is pretty close. You just have to pay attention to how tight you are turning those lock down screws and try to repeat that tightness.
